Meeting Schedule

The Society meets four times a year. Our Winter Gathering is early in the year and just for members to meet up and talk about what we did over the winter. Our other three meetings involve visiting bridges and other nearby historical sites, as well as voting and discussing Society business.

The 2025 meeting dates and counties have been determined. The dates are below. As more information becomes available, it will be added below.

Winter Gathering of the ICBS

On February 23rd, 2025, we will have our Winter Gathering at The Harrison at the Golf Club of Alexandra. The address is 1912 S Park, Alexandria, IN 46001.

We will gather for a nice lunch at 11:30 A.M. Please email Andy Rebman if you are planning on attending.

Spring Meeting of the ICBS

Our Spring Meeting for 2025 will be on April 26th and 27th, 2025 in Adams and DeKalb counties. John and Colleen Murray will host this tour.

Summer Meeting of the ICBS

Our Summer meeting will be on July 26th and 27th, 2025 in Perry and Spencer counties.

Fall Meeting of the ICBS

Our Fall meeting will be on October 4th and 5th, 2025 in Fayette and Franklin counties.

The 200 Year Celebration for Hyde Hall Covered Bridge near Cooperstown, New York

Save the date! Mark your calendars for a very special 200th celebration of the Hyde Hall covered bridge, the oldest covered bridge standing in the U.S. and located in Glimmerglass State Park near Cooperstown, NY. The date is Saturday, October 11, 2025, 10-4 pm. This will be a family event, with everyone invited to attend. Watch for more information as plans develop.
